Hi! My name is Indeya and I am the proud owner of Self Care Therapeutics LLC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health serving clients in Delaware and Pennsylvania. I would like to give each visitor a warm welcome to our virtual community! As our name suggests, we are a practice that prioritizes self-care and all aspects of mental health. Our mission is to provide the highest level of service to our clients, guiding them through the necessary work for personal growth and transformation. When founding this practice in 2021, I chose to offer virtual services not only to ensure safety during a challenging time globally, but also to provide convenience for my clients in today’s fast-paced world.

I have been in the mental health field for over 14 years and have always taken my passion for mental health very serious. I hold the role of being a therapist with the utmost respect and care. It is a profound honor to have individuals trust us enough to be vulnerable, enabling us to assist them in enhancing their quality of life.

I know starting therapy can cause some nerves but don’t worry! The reward will outweigh any fears, you just have to commit and begin! We look forward to welcoming you into our supportive community!

“I’m a little nervous to begin therapy”

That’s OKAY!

If you’re feeling nervous about starting therapy, know that this is an expected emotional response. It’s understandable to feel anxious about sharing personal information with someone you don’t know. However, when you really think about it, everyone we know now , was once a stranger. The ultimate goal is to build a strong, healthy relationship with your therapist, which in turn will create the comfort and trust needed in order to be open and honest. Surprisingly, the therapeutic relationship tends to develop quicker than you might think. This level of transparency is essential in therapy, as it enables you to fully benefit from the process and receive the support you need. Keep in mind, one of the key benefits of therapy is that your therapist isn’t part of your inner circle. You never have to worry about “burdening“ them with your problems, or fear being judged for what you choose to share.

  • Founder/Owner

    Indeya is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health for both the state of Delaware and Pennsylvania. Indeya has over 13 years experience in the field and her credentials are as follows: Licensed Professional Cousnelor of mental health, Licensed Masters Social Worker, Nationally Board Certifed Counselor, and Certfied Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Indeya has worked with many populations over her 13 years of experience including drug and alcohol, severely mentally ill, depression and anxiety , and more. Indeya has remained steadfast in her passion to help as many as she can through therapy.
